BIOGRAPHY
Bryony Heart is an independent singer songwriter influenced by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones, Heart’s music has evolved into an organic blend of powerful pop with subtle tones of acoustic guitar and her distinctive vocals have been described as spine chilling, powerful and unique!
Being very dyslexic, Heart struggled at school and often feeling alone she turned to music for comfort in her primary years. She began learning to play the violin but soon found singing was how she could really express her inner feelings and the violin was later replaced with a guitar. Heart, in her early teens, started to share her emotions with paper, writing lyrics that would reflect on her life experiences.
The highlight for Heart in 2022 was playing on the Rustic Stage at Weyfest Farnham. Having been accepted onto the Busk in London Scheme, her exposure through busking at London Network Rail in early 2023 gained followers from further afield with positive feedback. Heart is currently playing local gigs at pubs, clubs and festivals gathering local fans.
Following her debut single “Player” Heart on 1st March 2024 released an acoustic version of Player, then on Friday 12th April she released her latest single “If…” which was immediately picked up and aired on BBC Radio Introducing Sussex & Surrey
Bryony Heart intends releasing every 6 weeks thereafter in 2024
